Jeb Dunnuck: These wines are made by Cameron Woodbridge, who’s also behind the terrific Stormy Weather wines, also reviewed in this report. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Wolf's Head (28 months in just 29% new French oak) has a kiss of sweet oak as well as beautiful crème de cassis fruit and spice to go with a medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced feel on the palate. Elegance and seamless are the buzzwords, but this beauty has tons of fruit and richness as well and tastes like it cost 2-3 times its listed price. Drink it any time over the coming 15 years or so.
